The following tables list the data we collect, the third party service providers we share it with, the legal basis for collection per the GDPR regulations and the reason we have for doing so.

The legal basis for collecting the data affects your rights over that data, for example for data collected on the basis of Consent (6[1][a]) or Contract (6[1][b]) you have a right to portability and erasure.  For data collected on the basis of a legal obligation on our behalf (6[1][c]) you do not have these rights.  You can read more about your data rights under the GDPR at the ICO website.

Name, organisation, email and other potentially personally identifiable information that you send to us.

Basis for collection

Consent, Contract, Legal - If you make a support request or purchase with us then we will store data associated with this including the email you sent, your name and organisation, and any other information which may be relevant to fulfilling the purchase contract or our legal obligations (e.g. UK tax law requirements).

Aggregate data about builds

No Personally Identifiable Information (PII) - JWrapper software queries the JWrapper.com website when it performs a build.  This allows it to check if it is running the latest version and we also track in aggregate how many builds are running over time.  We do not store any personally identifiable information as part of these requests.

Why we share it

We use DigitalOcean to host our website.  JWrapper queries our website when a build is run so we can track aggregate build activity over time.  We store no personally identifiable data related to JWrapper on our website.  DigitalOcean are compliant with the EU-US Privacy Shield.

​Google, HelpScout

(Contract, Legal) Emails and documents containing support, purchase and tax information.

We hold an account with Google Apps to handle our email and store internal documents.  We also hold an account with HelpScout to track and manage support requests, sales and purchase or billing queries.  If you send us an email or make a purchase or support request the content and a record of this will be stored by Google and HelpScout and we may annotate or store this in internal bookkeeping or other documents via Google.  We do NOT store or handle card details, this is handled exclusively by our payment processor.  Google adheres to GDPR regulations.  HelpScout is compliant with the EU-US Privacy Shield.

Stripe

(Contract, Legal) ​Payment details and associated personal information for processing payments and calculating tax.

We process payments on our website via Stripe.  Stripe adheres to GDPR regulations.

Atlassian ​JIRA

(Consent, Contract) Support tickets and enhancement requests potentially referencing you if you request them.

If you report a bug or request an enhancement we may detail your request internally within the JIRA bug tracking system to track progress and inform you of any updates.  JIRA adheres to GDPR regulations.

BackBlaze

(Contract, Legal) Internal documents and records with support, purchase and tax information.

In some cases we may back up internal documents which list customer, purchase and tax information via BackBlaze.  In such cases the data will be encrypted.  BackBlaze adheres to GDPR regulations.
